Top Picks Book Catalogue, 2019

Brief: Design a catalogue for Footprint Books to take to a Leading Edge conference in Adelaide. Marketed to bookshops, to remind them that Footprint also distributes trade titles, not just academic.

I wanted the design to look like it was made for the front of a retail bookshop. I chose a serif type for the cover which is distinguished from our distributing competitors. The books on the cover are at an angle that allowed me to add in more titles and obliged the viewer to look an extra few seconds to register them all. The internals are playful and laid out with breaks in texture, colour and format.
